University of the Pacific to use StatMonitr in 2012-13

STOCKTON, CALIF. -- University of the Pacific has reached an agreement with StatBroadcast to use the StatMonitr media stats system for its home athletic events throughout the 2012-13 school year.

University of the Pacific is a private university located in Stockton, California. Established in 1851, Pacific has an enrollment of over 3500 students. The Pacific Tigers sponsor 16 varsity sports at the Division-I level. The Tigers are competing in their final season as a member of the Big West Conference (which they joined in 1970) before rejoining the West Coast Conference in 2014, a conference they had been charter members of in 1952 when it was previosuly known as the California Baksetball Association and the West Coast Athletic Conference. Pacific has won eight regular season conference championships and four conference tournament champiionships in men's basketball, as wel las eight appearances in the NCAA tournament. The Tigers have also won two national championships in women's volleyball and helpd a streak of 24 straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament between 1981 and 2004.
